Fuji Shibazakura Festival
Overview
The Fuji Shibazakura Festival features over 800,000 Shibazakura flowers blooming simultaneously making this festival the biggest in the region. The vibrant pink color of the flowers is an incredible contrast to the surrounding lake and the towering, snow capped Mt Fuji back drop. Definitely one of the best photo opportunities in Japan! The festival also features outdoor entertainment and food & drink stalls.
After the festival, we will visit Oshino Hakkai, a traditional Japanese village that features eight crystal clear, spring water ponds with a stunning backdrop of the towering Mt Fuji. There are also many food outlets and tradional shops here.
Looking forward to a fun day out!

Reviews
The Fuji shibazakura festival scenary is absolutly beautiful. The wine & juice free all-you-can-drink tasting is great. And I recommend you take the onsen option at the end, especially as it is partly outside and in a high place with a stunning view on the valley. Great trip leader, well-organized & fun trip!
We went to shibazakura and it was supposed to be rainy. The weather gods were with us and we are able to see Fuji clearly with the beautiful flowers and the lake. The onsen was amazing and the wineries were great. The second winery you paid ¥1500 to taste 180 wines and best part is you pour it yourself. I had a great time.
