Nozawa Onsen Powder Weekend

Nozawa Onsen Powder Weekend

Huge ski resort with some of the best pow around. Free hot springs all around town. Peak snow conditions, great resort, party event, good people - good times!

Overview

Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort is truly a snow paradise - a huge resort, with a great variety of courses offering something for everyone. From long, wide open runs that are great for beginners and intermediates to steep powder runs that will leave the more experienced skiiers/boarders grinning ear to ear. The super long runs of Nozawa Onsen also mean that you spend alot more time cruising down the slopes than sitting on the lifts. The back & side country tree runs at Nozawa Onsen are second to none. There are natural halfpipes, gullies and tons of well spaced powder tree runs to explore.

The traditional town of Nozawa Onsen is scattered with authentic Japanese buildings and free onsen houses throughout. There is a fantastic atomosphere in the village with many restaurants, bars and night spots.

We are staying in a stylish lodge located only 2min walk from the lifts (you can ski back to the door). The lodge is very close to one of the larger free onsens, and also has its own onsen on site.

What a great start of our snowboarding trip with Tokyo Snow in 2024! Snowfall all day long, the sun and the blue sky the next day, and everything was well organized! It was an extra bonus that we played pool and darts with our new friends at the party. Thank you, KG and TSC staff for a great trip! Can’t wait to hang out with you guys again!

Awesome weekend in Nozawa Onsen. This was my second time on this trip and it continues to be one of the best. The Nozawa village has lots of cute bars and restaurants in addition to the numerous onsens around town. Trip leaders were great and the snow conditions were ideal. Highly recommend joining this trip!!

Very good trip as always. Hotel with brand new tatami rooms and great views, perfect location practically at the foot of the lifts, well equipped for gear storage and drying, free onsen nearby and very good food. Travel arrangements impeccable. Already looking forward to the next trip.

Nozawa Onsen Powder Weekend with Tokyo Snow Club is becoming our annual event. A fantastic way to spend weekend with friendly and cool people addition to snowboarding. Keiji is an excellent tour leader. He has eyes everywhere and makes sure everyone is happy. He has a great amount of snowboarding knowledges and experiences. He advises to each person at a different level. We all improved our snowboarding skill during this weekend. Thanks to Keiji, a fantastic leader and his staff! Will definitely book another trip with TSC very soon.

It was the first time I travelled with Tokyo Snow Club and certainly not the last one. The excellently organized trip offered space to socialize and, at the same time to be independent. One had a choice. The combination of snow, skis and hot springs was marvellous. I had a great time!
